The team from Global Freight will be supporting Export Week this month, by offering top tips for international trade and offering support and guidance at two of the county’s biggest business events.
The award-winning Telford freight forwarder will be tweeting its top tips for SMEs wanting to launch international trade programmes between November 10 and14 via its @global_freight Twitter feed.
And the team will also be joining other county businesses at the Shropshire Chamber Expo on November 4 and the Federation of Small Business Annual Expo on November 20 to give face-to-face advice on trading overseas.
Managing director Nicole Howarth said: “We have always been a big supporter of Export Week which does so much to raise the profile of the benefits of trading beyond the borders of the UK.
“It is also Global Entrepreneurship Week in November, and with two of the county’s biggest business events as well, it is always a busy month for us. We’re also hoping to visit the Explore Export Roadshow event at the ICC in Birmingham – the flagship UKTI event in the West Midlands.”
Global Freight has a reputation for providing advice and tailored services to SME businesses looking to either start or expand their business overseas. It has been recently recognised for the support, guidance and services it offers to clients when it was named as one of three finalists in the Midlands International Trade Awards held earlier this month.
Nicole added: “We’ll be tweeting our tips for successful international trade throughout Export Week and also these can be found on our website at www.global-freight.co.uk
“This comes after the Shropshire Chamber Expo at Shrewsbury Town Football Club next Tuesday where the team will be on hand to speak with visitors. And we’re looking forward to exhibiting for the first time at the FSB Annual Expo being held at Southwater in Telford on November 20.”
