Covid-19 – a message from Global Freight’s Managing Director Anton Gunter

Posted: Wednesday 25th March

As the coronavirus crisis continues we are facing an unprecedented time in our history. The Covid-19 pandemic is having an impact on health, businesses and the global economy in a way many of us could never have imagined.

As we all try to navigate through these unique and difficult times, our lives and the daily lives of our staff are being affected in the same way as many of you. However, we want you to know that Global Freight Services is still here for you and your business.

In our more than 24 years of business, we’ve weathered with you many storms and this one will be no different. We will work alongside you as we share this global journey. We will ride the highs and lows together and whatever landscape we face on the other side we will rebuild it together.

Our plea to all businesses is that, now more than ever, we keep communicating with each other and that we help each other wherever we can because #togetherwecandothis.

Businesses can’t survive this alone and so let’s make all those times spent networking count. Let’s use the relationships we’ve built over the years to support each other.

For now at least, our business continues as normal. We’re helping customers, where possible, to keep their goods moving around the globe and playing a crucial role in maintaining vital supply chains.

We continue to stand by to help you with any expert advice and guidance you may need on your international trade operations and in pressured times we will work with you to explore new trading options.

So don’t be afraid to pick up the phone or drop us an email. Let’s keep talking.

In the meantime, we thank you for your continued support at this unprecedented time.

Please look after yourself, your family and all around you, and be safe.

Anton
