We may be a company that does business in some of the farthest reaches of the world but our hearts also lie close to home and in the community where we’re based in Shropshire. So we are delighted to be a sponsor of the 11th annual Energize Awards that will take place on November 2.
The awards are a celebration and recognition of the amazing people and organisations across Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin that promote, volunteer, work, support and take part in all kinds of physical activity and sport.
This year we’ll be backing the Local Hero category. This will recognise a volunteer who gives up their time for free in order to help other people to be active and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
This could be anything from a coach to a club treasurer or a groundsman or someone who raises funds for a club. Don’t forget the person who makes the tea or washes the kit!
Whoever wins, it will be someone who is a role model for participants and their peers and someone very special who has qualities that set them apart from the rest. We’re really looking forward to this inspiring event and meeting our winning Local Hero on the night.
