Global Freight meets finalists in awards countdown

It’s less than a month to go before the Shropshire Business Awards 2018 and Global Freight has been privileged to meet eight finalists shortlisted in two categories.

We’re the International Trade category sponsor and visited the four finalists in the running for that award this week.

They are Stallion AI Services in Whitchurch, TT Pumps near Market Drayton, TIA (GB) Ltd in Halesfield, Telford and CJ Wildbird Foods Ltd in Upton Magna

The award will go to the company which has excelled in exporting, importing, and built healthy links with suppliers or customers overseas.

Our managing director Nicole Gunter was also a judge for the manufacturing category – a new award introduced this year.

The winner will be the company that best demonstrates a continuous improvement to achieve world-class manufacturing standards.

The four finalists in the Manufacturing category are: Fabdec in Ellesmere, Northwood Hygiene Products in Telford, Grainger and Worrall Ltd in Bridgnorth and Protolabs in Telford.

All the nominees will now have to wait for the big glittery prize-giving night on June 15 at The International Centre in Telford when the winners will be announced.

Managing director Nicole Gunter said: “As a previous winner of a Shropshire Business award, we know the commitment and drive it takes to do business. All the finalists we visited were able to show us the best Shropshire businesses have to offer, the competition is very tough this year!”
