Motor sport thrills offer to Shropshire and Black Country firms

The chance for a VIP experience of all the thrills and spills of top class motor sport is being opened-up to Shropshire and Black Country businesses thanks to an award-winning Midlands freight firm.

Telford-based Global Freight is a sponsor of the MSS Bathams Kawasaki team running in the British Superbikes championship, widely acknowledged to be the world’s most competitive national bike racing series.

That link allows Global Freight to give the region’s firms access to 25 per cent discount on a VIP day spent right at the heart of a professional, factory-backed racing team, with access to the pit lane, the bikes and riders, the best views, team goodies and refreshments throughout the day.

Global Freight managing director, Nicole Howarth, said: “I really would defy anyone not to enjoy a day as a VIP guest at a BSB round. It is the most exciting experience and, as well as being looked after and given the best views and access to the team, you get to see some of the most hotly fought, sometimes heart-stopping, sport on offer in this country.

“Even better, this year Bridgnorth’s Michael Rutter is riding for MSS Bathams Kawasaki. As well as being a local hero, he’s one of the old hands in the pit lane who’s still making his mark by winning world-class races, including the Macau GP and another win at the Isle of Man TT this year.”

Nicole added: “This is not just the chance for a day out, but a great way to entertain clients or reward hard-working staff. With plenty of other firms there as guests of both MSS and the other teams, there’s even the potential for new contacts and business. We have certainly found our association with the sport to be a benefit to Global Freight and we’re pleased to be in a position to open up the VIP day opportunity to the businesses around us.”

Chances to enjoy the VIP experience are available throughout this year’s BSB rounds, which run until October at circuits around the UK. VIP guests also get photo opportunities with the riders, plus a personalised poster signed by them.

MSS Bathams Kawasaki team boss, Nick Morgan, said: “Support from Global Freight and our other sponsors is invaluable in keeping the team racing, so we’re delighted to be able to invite Global Freight’s business peers to enjoy the excitement of a great BSB day out.”

A VIP day with the team can be had for the reduced rate of £75 + VAT by emailing christina@msscolchester.com or calling 07772 888407 and quoting “Global Freight”.
