Here at Global Freight our team operates 364 days of the year helping to shift goods all over the world for our customers and, we do it all without the help of mince pies and reindeer dust!
But at the stroke of midnight on Christmas Eve, it will be our turn to down tools and let the magic take over as we allow Father Christmas to do his thing.
Meanwhile, we, like everyone else, will be finishing off wrapping presents, prepping the turkey and beginning our festive celebrations.
We have carrots lined up for Rudolph and his friends and we will be setting down our finest, home baked mince pie ready for Santa alongside a large glass of milk.
And then like many of you, we will be tuning into NORAD so we can track Santa’s progress – well we can’t switch off completely can we? Tracking assignments is, after all, what we do best!
Every year on Christmas Eve, the North American Aerospace Defense Command(NORAD) tracks Father Christmas’s flight as he leaves the North Pole and begins his long journey around the globe to deliver presents.
The tradition will continue in 2018 and we for one will be checking in on December 24th to keep up to speed on his UK ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival). Make sure you join in the fun too and visit the website https://www.noradsanta.org/where you can download the NORAD tracking app.
You can also share some of your Santa tracking stories with us on our social channels using #globaltracksanta. You might also like to tell us about where in the world you have posted parcels and presents to this Christmas.
