Stunning start for Global Freight-backed Ninjas

It has been a stunning start to the British Superbike season for the Global Freight-backed MSS Kawasaki team which achieved its best ever finish in the series at the last race meeting. nicole and trophy – web

Scotsman, Stuart Easton, riding the 2011 Ninja ZX-10R took two podium finishes in style at Oulton Park, having spent time leading both races.

And the weekend celebrations were boosted by a convincing win in the Superstock 1000 class by MSS Kawasaki’s Danny Buchan – also mounted on a Global Freight-sponsored ZX-10R.

Danny now leads the National Superstock 1000 series after two rounds and two wins, with Stuart Easton in a very well deserved second place in the hotly-contested BSB championship standings after four races.

Global Freight Managing Director, Nicole Howarth (pictured with the ZX-10R and Danny Buchan’s winners trophy), was herself cheering on the team at the first round of this year’s championship, at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

She said: “We knew when we opted to back MSS Colchester Kawasaki that this year held huge promise for them, with new riding talent and a brand new bike. But the results we’ve seen so far have exceeded everyone’s expectations and we’re extremely proud to be involved in their tremendous team effort.

“At the second round, at Oulton Park, Stuart Easton battled hard in two thrilling Superbike races and Danny Buchan brought home a second win in style, which was exhilarating for everyone. Seeing the sharp edge of motorsport close up reminds you how similar sport can be to business, with the need for everyone to work together, delivering maximum input to achieve the results. Obviously we’re very comfortable being associated with that!”

As part of its sponsorship of MSS Colchester Kawasaki, Global Freight’s branding appears across the team’s livery, on the bike, the hospitality unit, the pit garage, race trucks and the team website.
