Can you help our managing director Anton Gunter double his fundraising efforts to support breast cancer research?
Just over a month ago we announced that Anton was aiming to raise hundreds of pounds for Breast Cancer Now by taking part in the Prudential RideLondon cycling event.
He’d set an ambitious fundraising target of £700 in return for completing the 100-mile cycle challenge.
But after smashing this in a matter of weeks, Anton has decided to double the target and is now aiming to raise £1,400 by the time he saddles up for the ride on August 4.
He’s already well on the way and at last check funds raised stood at £1,165 so with a little extra push (off the bike, not on) we think he will definitely be on track to achieve the new goal.
He said: “Training is going well and I’m easily covering 80 to 100 miles on the bike but getting into the right mindset is difficult.
“I find training for events really difficult from a time and energy perspective but there is no way that I could just turn up on the day and cycle 100 miles so I’m slowly getting into the swing of things.
“I’m really grateful to everyone who has taken the time and effort so far to sponsor me and help raise vital funds for this charity.
“To have reached the initial target so quickly is fantastic and if we can keep the momentum going I will be delighted.”
