Led by managing director Nicole Howarth, the Telford-based company has been established for nearly 20 years and has gained a reputation for offering bespoke and cost-effective solutions to small to medium-sized businesses wanting to import or export goods.

Simon Cockings, chief executive of Dubai-based Purple Patch, said Global Freight won its shipping contract thanks to its expertise in worldwide logistics and ability to meet ‘unique’ challenges.

He said: “We require goods transported from the Far East to destinations around the globe. I contacted many freight service companies and none were more interested in the unique challenges that the nature of my business posed than Global Freight.

“The passion for their business was evident from the start. I was not particularly well versed on the complexities of logistics, but Nicole and her team are experts and have objectively walked me through the processes and procedures involved. The service provided has been faultless.”

General Manager of furniture specialist R Interiors is Bill Weir. Global Freight recently stored, packed and shipped £500,000 of luxury interior furnishing to Azerbaijan for the company.
